Software downloaded from
Iomega's site does not help 2000 find the accellerator card, but after a
failed autodetect by the Iomega software it was just a matter of filling
in the hardware info manually. The default card configuration no longer
shares DMA & IRQ settings with the Floppy Controller (at least in my
case) so it was just a matter of using settings that weren't occupied.
The Ditto software didn't like backing up from an NTFS partition (again,
this was just in my case) but didn't mind FAT32 at all.

Works perfectly with the
native, mini drivers included in Windows 2000. OEM utilities CD (IomegaWare)
does not install but the W2k version from the Iomega web site does
install.

IomegaWare 2.0 from Iomega's
website install successfully on Windows 2000 RC2, and all function works
fine.

IomegaWare refuses to install
but drive works fine (on Windows 2000 RC1)
You had to trick the install a little.
You cant use it first thing. Look in the drivers/nt40/zip usb/ and right
click the iomusb.inf file, click install, and reboot your system. make
sure you have usb enabled. It works great.

ZIP 250 USB w/PC Card Interface (5)

IomegaWare still won't install but W2000 RC2 noticed
the drive when I inserted the PC Card (Automatically installing drivers for the
device). Was able to transfer files between multiple non-w2k machines without
problems.

Go to the registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/CurrentControlSet/Services/Parallel/Parameters
Create a new value called: ParEnableLegacyZip with type REG_DWORD and
value 0x1 Rerun the hardware wizard or reboot your machine.
