Soyo SY-1394 FireWire Card (5)

XP Pro detected it and installed generic MS drivers. Worked fine with the only 1394 device I own, a Sharp VL-WD255 camcorder, using Windows Movie Maker. I will post an update when I instal new video editing software.

Soyo seems to have disowned this card as no info can be found on their site. It only came with Win98 drivers.
I paid $11, for the price, you can't beat it.

If anybody has a Soyo SY-6BA+
mainboard and finds the system hanging during W2K install, a bios update
will fix the problem...
