I have a dual-processor system and heard that there might be problems with it, so I used imagecfg.exe from the NT4 Resource Kit to permanantly set the app's affinity to CPU#0. I haven't had a single problem, and I've been playing the game a LOT.

Requiem Avenging Angel (5)

This product has been tested on the following operating systems: Windows XP,Windows 2000 and has a average rating of 5

The last rating (5) has been submitted on 2007-12-08 13:33:25 by Anonymous running Windows XP:
All you need is req_1_2.exe and rqd3d13.exe

Install the 1.2 patch first, then install the 1.3 patch.

If the 1.3 patch refuses to install (it says "neither command line parameter is a..."), just rename your Requiem directory to D3d. The 1.3 patch should install just fine. Rename it back to Requiem to play the game. Incredibly stupid, yes, but it works.

Requiem, Avenging Angel (2)

This product has been tested on the following operating systems: Windows XP,Windows Vista and has a average rating of 2

The last rating (5) has been submitted on 2007-11-28 12:29:13 by Anonymous running Windows XP:
Use Requiem, Avenging Angel CD to install game under default directory (C:PROGRAM FILES). Download all patches for Requiem, Avenging Angel (ReqUpdate.exe, req_1_2.exe, rqd3d13.exe, rqsfw13.exe) and place into created directory (C:Program Files3DORequiem). Now, take this *entire* 3DO directory and place in XP's DESKTOP, MY DOCUMENTS directory. Start the patches in this order: ReqUpdate.exe, req_1_2.exe, rqd3d13.exe, rqsfw13.exe. All patches should (must!) work successfully. Now, place entire 3DO directory back under C:PROGRAM FILES directory. Copy D3D.EXE file that is already in the C:Program Files3DORequiem directory and place into "root" C: directory of your computer. Double click on Requiem.exe in C:Program Files3DORequiem. Program should now start, and with full hardware video support. This worked for me, so it should work for you -- but no guaranties!!

High Heat 2002 (3)

This product has been tested on the following operating systems: Windows 2000,Windows XP and has a average rating of 3

The last rating (5) has been submitted on 2004-09-01 12:00:00 by Anonymous running Windows 2000:
Received the follow messages:
1) I just downloaded the newest 7.52 drivers for nvidia cards. And i no longer get all the flicker from the 6.50 drivers. All seems to work fine
2) Nothing happens when you start the exe
3) Demo worked great, full version does not. Pops up the HH2002 banner, then just exits--no error, no nothing. It seems to be a copy protection problem, since it hits the CD a lot, then just dies. :-(
4) Works perfectly, albeit slight audio glitches
5) No problems running the game, although others have reported them when running on Win2K. If all of the latest video and sound drivers as well as DirectX 8.0 are installed, there shouldn't be a problem. The game does say right in the installation screen that it does not support Win2K. But, I've played 6 games of a season so far without any problems. Good luck.
6) Out of the box, High Heat 2002 will not run under Win 2k. Suspecting this was a copy protection problem (as indicated in a previous report) I grabbed the NoCD patch. High Heat 2002 now runs under Windows 2000! I did experience a few minor sound glitches, otherwise it works great!
7) Graphics jitter and become slurred. Sound repeats (echoes) and crackles.

You will need to restart the program.
An error log is being created.

Autorun starts and gets as far as the "I Agree" window then gives the above error.
Heroes of Might & Magic 3 - The Shadow of Death (1)

This product has been tested on the following operating systems: Windows 2000 and has a average rating of 1

The last rating (1) has been submitted on 2000-06-01 12:00:00 by Anonymous running Windows 2000:
Received the follow messages:
1) Game crashes immediately upon exe execution. Tested both before and after win2k updates. Very strange because previous HOMM3 games work fine under win2k. I'll try and test on another box.
2) Had no problems at all. Installed Fine. Ran Gameupdate to bring it to 3.1.
3) Mine installs fine and does not crash after execution. Setup program seems to have problems with W2000, it stops at 99% ... just wait a few minutes.
4) Just a thought. Noticed that Heroes of Might and Magic 3-The Shadow of Death crashes immediately upon exe execution. That sounds very similar to Sammy Sosa High Heat Baseball 2001, another game put out by the 3DO company. They seem to have now admitted that this is an issue related to the copy protection. They appear to have wrapped the disc with an older and incompatible version of safedisc. So, the problem is likely the same here. I would assume many or all 3D0 titles released in the last few weeks at least won't work for this same reason. Just thought I'd mention it.
5)turn of the music inside the game. Since my computer have crashed many times since I installed it I guessed it was creative labs sb live drivers that messed up my computer(when HOMMIII-sod trying to send two sound levels(!?) to the card it crashes under win2k and locks the computer).
4) Installed, updated and ran fine.
