This product has been tested on the following operating systems: Windows NT 4.0,Windows XP,Windows 2000 and has a average rating of 5

The last rating (5) has been submitted on 2007-03-24 05:46:09 by Anonymous running Windows NT 4.0:
Works pretty well with the 3dfx beta drivers. I have noticed a few minor miscellaneous bugs and quirks. Some games do not work in 32-bit color. Homeworld and Heavy Metal FAKK2 seem to have problems. Although the games function, certain objects on the screen flash regularly. The 2D looks good but seems sluggish at times. Overall, functional and useable, but far from perfect.

Now I can change resolutions and different Quake 3 or other glide/openGL apps. settings without crashing or returning to the windows screen which is the case with the 3DFX NT4 beta drivers.I'll never be thankfull enough especially since 3Dfx went down the drain and their only NT drivers is in beta anyway.
http://www.wicked3d.com/technology/wickedGL.htm

This setting can cause desktop lockup problems. I have found that
changing this setting to 100 instead of 110 fixes the lockup problem.
here is the section from the inf file
OLD INF section

HKR,, InstalledDisplayDrivers, %REG_MULTI_SZ%, banshee
HKR,, VgaCompatible, %REG_DWORD%, 0
HKR,, UseNonBIOSModeSet, %REG_DWORD%, 1
HKR,, memclocking, %REG_DWORD%, 110
NEW inf section

HKR,, InstalledDisplayDrivers, %REG_MULTI_SZ%, banshee
HKR,, VgaCompatible, %REG_DWORD%, 0
HKR,, UseNonBIOSModeSet, %REG_DWORD%, 1
HKR,, memclocking, %REG_DWORD%, 100
This one change can fix the desktop lockup problem.
