1) Works fine, just use the drivers off the CD.
2) messed up my previous win2k install.installed it fresh and installed the inf+ata+intel security drivers and runs without a hitch now http://www.cusl2.com is a great site for info about driver/biosupdate

3) Worked perfectly out of the box. All Bioses from 1001 to 1003 beta4 have worked flawlessly. It says Windows 2000 Professional compatible for a reason :)
4) I have two boxen, both using the latest "official" bios revision (1002) on CUSL2's. Both are extremely stable, and work perfectly with win2k.

In contrary to the w2k installation, the i815 Drivers are automatically installed from the Whistler CD. Working OK.
