No support from Canon after lots of e-mails I don't think they worry about their customers owing this "professional" machine. There is no work around also...

Works w/out drivers because
TWAIN connected to CSP software. Does not work w/ daisy chained printer.
Utilize Belkin 5200U cable to connect PP printer to USB port. Device
manager does not recognize scanner but works just fine.

There is neither Windows NT4 nor Windows 2000 driver listed on Canon's official website, and no results can be found from www.windrivers.com; Updated Windows 98 driver for this specific model will not install, and it is not possible to force MultiPASS C5500 Windows 2000 driver (it simply does not recognize the device).
