Select Windows NT and Webcam I/II on the download page. The file wc2pnt4.exe runs under Win2k. Then to get the video player, go back to the download page and select Windows 98 and Webcam I/II. The files wc2cntrl.exe and wc2mon.exe will work under Win2k as well, which are ways to view the video image and upload the image to the web.

Sound Blaster 512 PCI (3)

Windows detects the card as an SBPCI 128 or compatible (WDM driver). Upon updating / re-inbstalling the actual SBPCI512 driver, the OS crashes on every boot with a blue screen! (Blue screen of death).

The hardware works fine, but
the creative labs software does not. You have to use the built in DVD
player which for some reason looks really bad compared to the creative
labs player (Windows 2000 Beta 3). Windows2000 RC1 WILL detect the DXR2
card and install it. Windows 2000 RC2 will NOT detect the DXR2 card. If
you have RC2, download the Windows98 WDM drivers from Creative Labs and
follow the Windows98 WDM installation instructions and your DXR2 WILL
work! If you dont install the WDM version of the drivers your DXR2 will
not work! Windows 2000 RC2 on my system does allow me to use the
creative DVD software.

ksuser.dll

and use them. Win2003 .NET will b**ch about files not being signed by WinHQ etc... - don't worry, they work like a charm.
