Installer failed after documentation was installed complaining about not finding the file "ssp.ini" on the CD. The game itself can be installed manually by running "CD:\Install.exe" in Windows 98 Compatibility mode. The game plays fine without any need for compatibility mode fixes, either with or without the D3D patch (but it looks better with it assuming you have a suitable graphics-card).
