Just a quickie here guys;

I'm running XP Home SP1 DirectX 9.0b.

Should I strive to get DX 9.0c even though I don't have any games that require it.

OR

Should I wait until I buy a game that requires it, in which case it will come on the CD anyway?

Depends on your "train-of-thought" really: Are you the kind of person that demands/likes being 'ABSOLUTELY STATE-OF-THE-ART/CUTTING-EDGE UPDATED' or 'if-a-watch-runs, don't-fix-it' type!

* It seems solid to me everytime I have applied DirectX 9.0c (latest afaik), so I go with it here!

APK

P.S.=> Microsoft does patches for GOOD reasons usually, performance & features is why iirc, in this latest release as well as 9.0b bugfixes! apk

To be perfectly honest, I'm an 'if it aint broke don't fix it' kinda guy but i'll probably wind up getting from Microsoft anyway...
