Received the follow messages:
1) The box and readme say 200 and NT are not supported. The game works great under Win2000 SP1.
2) Worked fine right out of the box, even thought it states that W2k and WinNT are not supported. I'm running W2k with Service Pack 1 and Directx 8.
3) Works fine with my Radeon 64 DDR. The box is misleading about it not supporting W2K. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your devices it is a Direct X 8 game.
4) Works fine out of the box on Win2k Pro with a GeForce 2 MX
5) works fine with SOUND BLASTER LIVE, DUAL 550, TNT 2 Ultra, 288MB Ram.. under windows 2k
6) Runs out of the box with no probs. Unreal Tourney engine you know :)

Works reasonably well, mouse is a little jerky in the turn based strategy mode. When you try to quit from the game menu, computer freezes. Ctrl-alt-del, will end the program.

Game installs if you use compatiblity mode for Win98/Me. Strange since it was designed for XP. Performance doesn't seem to be as good as on XP (32 bit) but the game does seem more stable on my setup.

Need for Speed 5: Porsche Unleashed Demo (5)

The demo runs great no
problems on a 400 celeron running at 450 with 256megs of ram ans a v3
2000 agp.

XP SP2, installed w/ alternate installer (which reports disk size error, "continue" anyway), patched to 1.17F. Compatibility settings: NT, 256 colors, 640x480, & disable visual themes. Ran instant action (wow, graphics have come a long way! :-) ). My computer configuration: Athlon64 3800+ Venice on Asus AN8-E, 7800GTX (77.56), 1GB RAM, Win XP SP2, Audigy 2 PP, lotsa disk space, & Cougar HOTAS.

Noticed no problem whatsoever. Runs smoth on Geforce 3 TI 200 with 2.0 GHZ P4... 512MB Rambus... with Nvidia 30.82 drivers...

To get this game to work in Windows 2000, you have to do it this way: 1. Use APCOMPAT.EXE (A utility that comes with Windows 2000 Server in the support directory) and pick Windows NT 4 SP5. Windows 98/95 causes errors. Then find Setup.exe on the CD and run it. This is how you get it to run the setup. 2. In setup, pick the minimum setup and then press next and it will let you install it to the hard drive. 3. Get wsock32.dll from Windows 95 or Windows 98 and put it in the same directory that tw2001.exe is located at. 4. After executing normally, it will pop up 2 kernel32.dll errors that only Windows 95/98 only understand. After pressing ok on it twice, you are now in the game and it works great. It didn't freeze up at all on my system. So have fun playing Tiger Woods 2001 in Windows 2000. My system is: Intel PIII 1 GHz 512 Megs of RAM IBM 46 Gig HD. With sp2, just create a shortcut to the installer and run it under the Win9x compatibility mode. Once installed, do the same with the startmenu shortcut.
