When I run the demo the screen blacks out, then the game exits to desktop.

Received the follow messages:
1) Installs fine, runs like a dream!
Hardware: P3 500, Voodoo 3 3000 AGP
2) The game runs OK, stutters a little at 1024x768x32 on PIII 933 (no problem at all on W98 PIII 533!) but the sound is very wrong. Sound control works fine in the menu but in game sound is at maximum (so the engine noise is eliminating all else)

Received the follow messages:
1) It gives me an error message about DirectX 0 (!) being installed and DirectX 7 needed. I use build 2481
2) I am using Windows XP Professional(Final 2600) with config as: 10GB Maxtor NTFS partition, nVidia Riva TNT2 M64 with Detonator 23.11 @ 1024x768(16-bit color), Pentium-3@800Mhz, Sound Blaster 64. The NFS5:PU works w/o any glitch whatsoever. No need to reset page file size etc. Just plays as in Win98 and fast too.
