Received the follow messages:
1) No Windows XP Drivers yet. However, loaded Win2k drivers. Looks like it worked but then it can't be found in any of the applications. Going to the scanner control panel, I can see the scanner and pushing the test button verifies that the OS is seeing the scanner. There is some disconnect there between the driver and the apps. I tried Photoshop 6, PhotoDeluxe 4 and the built-in scanner wizard.
2) At first I installed the windows 2000 drivers. They installed without a problem. Then when I tried the scanner no program could find it. In the device manager I could the see the scanner with an !. Then I reinstalled the drivers letting windows automatically installing them. Now everything works perfectly. I Tried scanning in Word, Ulead Photo Express and Omnipage Pro. No problems at all.
3) Downloaded the Win2k drivers and ignored all XP warnings. Then installed Epson Smart Panel and everything works fine!
