Even with the latested bios,
the ACPI is buggy. Shutdown via software works just fine, but when
installing ist´s recognised as ACPI compliant pc which it isn´t really.
I noticed quite high cpu temperatures after installation of 2k. When
done installing i started Seti@home just to see the dam thing lockup
after about 10 minutes!! Tried again, the same.. Took me 1 hour to find,
that win2k stopps the cpufan during bootup!!!!! So i cut the line and
rewired it to 12v constantly without hardware monitoring, works just
fine now, but fan monitoring is gone!!
