I'm currently using a gateway 9550 with the 32 meg geforce 2 go and the drivers that gateway provides suks.. are there any drivers that will work with that chipset prefably a referance type driver. i went on the nvidia site and those the deton drivers do not work with it. Anyone using that chip and have knowlege on what drivers will work with my gateway?

Go to dell.com, under the support page. Just say you got a Dell Inspiron 8000 with the GeForce2 Go drivers and download them.
Let me know if they're better drivers for ya.

doesnt work, the " cow" wont accept them... thinking i have to use its drivers

Do a windows update. When you get to the page, do the customize update option. Then select hardware, and search on your own. You can figure the rest from there. There is a thread on this board that addresses this, and i can't remember the exact steps to do this. But Microsoft has Geforce 2 Go drivers that are pretty recent. like 10-25 i think. Good luck.
