1) I have only tried the patched version of GTA2. Don't think the patch is win2k specific. Final code of win2k, Matrox G400 MAX with latest drivers, SB Live! using MS reference drivers only. http://www.gta2.com/frameset.html 
2) Doesn't work. Won't even get into the game without crashing.
3) Generates errors right when going into the game.
4) The german version works fine on W2k Prof. SP2, GeforceII MX (Driver 12.41) and SB16 (w2k default).
5) At first this game didn't run at all under windows 2000. It wouldn't even start up and had error messages left and right. But after installing the latest patch from www.gta2.com, the game worked great. In fact, it runs better under Windows 2000 pro than with Windows 98, using the authorized patch of course

1) just crashes with GPF when you try to load it. I tried the patch, the compatibility mode, updated video drivers, the compatibility fix from Microsoft and many other things, but it still doesn't work!

2) Game runs fine with newest patch. I it doesnt try tweaking your display settings in GTA2 manager and put it in compatibility mode for win98!

This game does not work on XP Home, with or without the patch. Whilst you can open the game launcher, the game will not play.

Just use the latest patch and it will work fine.

Had a problem at first - "not a valid Win32 application". Downloaded latest patch, worked fine.

Sudden Random Aborts and Shutdowns. Works for 2minutes to two hours. Sometimes a screen appers and physical memory dump occurs. IRQL-not-less-or-equal-. appers. It doesn't run smooth, it has tracking problems like a Video Casset Recorder. It sometimes runs in window when selected. It works enough to play.

Works fine, no probs.
