Received the follow messages:
1) Installer does not recognise NTFS partitions and reports not enough space to install. I installed it to a FAT ZIP100 drive. After that no further problems. (Trident Cyberblade 3D i7 - DirectX8a - SP2 - Japanese W2K Pro)
2) Works fine under Win2000 as long as you install it to a partition or drive other than the one you boot from. Doesn't matter whether it's FAT or NTFS.

Run the installer in Windows 98/ME compatibility mode to prevent the disk-space detection problem. Game may abort with an error on launching about force-feedback, untick that in the Control tab of the launcher to avoid the problem again. If the game drops to the desktop after entering Pilot Name then Alt-Tab back in and it should still be okay. Ran fine in both Software or Direct3D modes after sorting out those initial problems (U2.04 version tested -- the final stable release)
