Risk for Windows 95 - also known as Hasbro Risk, Atari Risk, and Risk Gold. Game works fine under Windows 2000 except mouse cursor flashes during a game. Still playable.

Dont Enable EAX on a SB Live sound card, and use minimal sound channel; otherwise sound related problems exist.

Received two messages:
1) Game works fine, no problems at all, but I cannot
get the Saitek R4 Wheel working properly.
2) Intel Pentium 2 � 350mhz, Nvidia TNT2 16MB AGP,
Sound Blaster Live 1024. Keyboard input in menus is dodgy at best of times,
resulting in no response and/or jammed key effects making menu selection very
difficult. Music skips and jumps whilst in options, fine in game, except in
cockpit view, where sound is forced all to the right speaker. Also can't
redefine controller buttons on Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback Wheel forcing
the brake to be constantly on, which forces car to a rapid halt when accelerator
is released.

The game itself installs fine and is playable. There is a problem in creating custom generated player characters. The character generation process goes to 100% complete then dies complaining about a database file. Probably an incompatible Windows DLL. Otherwise the game itself is usable and playable!!

This refers to the Win32 executable wice.exe. The game runs perfectly with no compatibilty settings. Uses WinG. A DOS version was avaible afaik but was not included in the release I tested.

Tried for ages to get it working without success, but lucked on it eventually. Used Atcompat.exe with the Win 95 layer for the install. Then used QFixApp in the Compatibility Toolkit to actually run it. But I had to use the NT4SP5 layer which makes no sense to me, given than that's what the game is trying to avoid you running it in. None of the other layers work... Anyway, all is fine now, although the music isn't playing and I get occasional crashes in the menu screens. Saving often...
