The heir to Intel´s successful Xeon line, Pentium 4 Xeon follows in the classic Intel strategy of using a consumer x86 core as the basis for a powerful server processor. To tackle the daily routine of server duty, Intel has added a huge amount of cache to the standard P4 core, up to 5MB in some configurations.
