JVC GR-DVX10 (1)

This product has been tested on the following operating systems: Windows XP and has a average rating of 1

The last rating (1) has been submitted on 2001-08-01 12:00:00 by Anonymous running Windows XP:
With RC-2 the incompatibility between Windows XP and the JVC GR-DVX10 and it's CardNavigation Software seems to be fixed. Now the camera (when connected to the COM-Port) is found and you are able to transfer files to and from the MultiMedia Card. IEEE-1394 Connections are still not fully supported although they show up as working! There still remains a major incompatibility between Windows XP and the JVC GR-DVX10 (or other JVC Cameras as I have heared of other people) when they are connected via Firewire IEEE-1394. Although the Camera appears in the Windows Explorer, it is still impossible to transfer files to and from the camera this way and you can't even browse it. Also it is impossible to record a DV-Stream from the camera using either Windows Movie Maker, Premiere 6.0 and Ulead Video Studio. Whenever you start recording (or even viewing the DV-stream) you get a BSOD and the system restarts.
