"Traditionally the only way to get the Mackie name on your monitors was to buy from their lone HR series - which are out of the budget of most small-time recording hobbyists and are highly acclaimed professional level monitors. Mackie does have their Tapco brand, but it's very budget minded. When Mackie released their MR series of monitors, people jumped at the idea of getting the same high quality monitoring technology Mackie is known for, but at a fraction of the cost. Having reviewed several sets of monitors here in the past, and having personally used even more, I've been trying for a long time to get a set of these MR monitors myself to review here for you.
