I was able to get the original game working in Windoows 2000 through the instructions posted at this site I can't seem to get the expansion Spells of the Ancients running. Any help would be greatly appriciated. It installs, but running the .exe I get a windows "ding" sound with no error message. Thanks Jeremy

One of the things I have found is that one needs to start with MTG 1.0 then install Spells of the Ancient.
IN addition, the installation of SotA asks for the CD-ROM key of MTG 1.0
Unless one has a way around this it will not install properly or even work properly.
Then after Sota, one needs SotA patched (at least two I'm aware of).

I think, patch 1.32 fixes this bugs. But SotA needs all patch installed. Further instructions included in the 1.32 readme file.
