Is there any way that the original prince of persia game can be made compatible with xp? Thanks

the problem starts with the installation itself. Midway b/w the installation
xp pops up an error message and the installation gets terminated.
Someone said that disabling the xp logo check in the configuration manager might help. However, i don't know how i can do that.
