This product has been tested on the following operating systems: Windows XP and has a average rating of 5

The last rating (5) has been submitted on 2007-11-15 12:29:07 by Anonymous running Windows XP:
This game does not play under WIN XP in native mode. Every time there is a screen change you have to ALT/TAB away from the game and then clich on the menu bar to re-enter the game to see the new screen.

I have got this game working in WIN XP by downloading Microsoft's Virtual PC 2007, it's free, installing WIN 98, and then installing the game on the virtual pc & running it.

Warhammer 40,000 - Chaos Gate (5)

This product has been tested on the following operating systems: Windows XP and has a average rating of 5

The last rating (5) has been submitted on 2007-03-11 09:46:17 by Anonymous running Windows XP:
I figured out a way to fix the "cultist crash bug" , well its not really a fix, more like a edit.

Basically I used the editor to remove the Cultists' from the maps.

It's quite simple to do, just run the editor and open the campaign maps, locate all the Cultists', right click and chose delete, then click yes on the pop-up.

After you have removed the Cultists' you can add some more Chaos Marines to even the maps out again.

Now when you choose save an error message might pop-up, to remedy that go into Windows Explorer, or My Computer, find the maps directory (Usually C:\Program Files\RandomGames\Chaos Gate\Maps) , right click on the map file, click Properties and un-tick the Read Only box.

This will allow you to play Chaos Gate flwlesly on an Win2K-WinXP system, although without the cultists', but they were pathetic and not much of a challenge anyway. Enjoy!
