I run this on XP, and it works fine except for the fact that none of the movies or the background music play. Anyone else know how to fix this?

Seeing how no one else wnats to jump in, try copying your movies and music folders from the CD, and dropping them into the appropriate directories on your HDD, Usually in the "Data" folder. Use the same directory as on the CD. If there is no sucj diorectory in the game floder on the HDD, create one.

i have a similar problem, music plays fine during the game, but somes videos don't..
like, when i start the application, the game will be sent down to the task bar, but i'll still hear the sound of the company logos, and the video that plays before the menu appears
if i try to restore the window, the sound stops as soon as the mouse click on anything, and it will skip directly to the menu
also, when i start a new game, i'll get the cutscenes with the zombie face about the mansion and umbrella and all, but the 2nd cutscenes ( the opening of the game, when leon gets to racoon city, meets claire and then there's the crash and they get separated) is skipped ( just like the previous one i descrived, with the game being sent down to the task bar) and i get sent directly to the beginning of the game, with my character in the street and zombies all around, if i click anything
anyone knows what i could do?

in the plice staion at the part with the staue i get an error 'could not find file ./zmoive/r200.bin.' can ne1 tell me how to fix this?
