No help from S&F, they do not answer email. Used the bin from Teac's r55s10R01 Firmware update, and the primitive S&F SCSI_flw.exe. The update worked, The boot problem is solved and my drive now identifies as a Teac55S. All tests are positive at this time.. I think also that Teac's exclusive drive updater may work now too, haven't tried it as of yet.
