I have 3 computers A, B and C, connected with a linksys router.
A and A are running xp pro and C is runnin xp home.
A and B can usualy browse each other by name and always by ip
C can see B but cannot see or ping A
A can ping and access C by ip but not name
The only computer that has a firewall is C but that is turned off that that computer can be reached fine.

The problem is C cann't see A and A is the one with that has ever thing on it and none of the computer can browse the network.

3 "preliminary screening" questions first:

1.) Are ALL the systems on the SAME subnet-mask in their Tcp/IP protocol properties?

2.) Can each box "ping" the others??

3.) Does EACH system have the following networking protocols & clients installed???

a.) Tcp/IP protocol

&

b.) NetBIOS/LanManager (Client for Microsoft Networks) client

APK

P.S.=> Curious also - What KIND of cablemodem/internetworking router did your ISP/BSP give you???? apk
