Support for ISA sound chipsets has been discontinued on the distribution media (CDs). Drivers will be available from Windows Update around the final release of .NET Server 2003.

UPDATE: Using the cut-and-paste method described in "SoundBlaster AWE 64 ISA" does work, however only the wdma_ctl.inf and ctlsb16.sys drivers need to be copied from another source. The other two files are included in the WS2K3 \Windows\system32 directory.

The two files I mentioned should be extracted from the Windows XP \I386 directory:

wdma_ctl.in_ is located in \I386; you will need to use EXPAND.EXE (located in \I386 as well) to decompress it

ctlsb16.sys is located in DRIVERS.CAB in the \I386 directory; just pull the file out using Explorer

Until either Microsoft or Creative provide drivers on Windows Update (very unlikely as it has been 6 months past WS2K3 release as of this writing), this method works well.
