whines about no buffers=20 and files=20 in config.sys (yes I tried adding them to config.nt and it didn't fix it). Windows XP Beta 2

It sort of works but then doesn't. After booting off a w98 Dos Diskette and installing the CD using the old mscdex.exe. I installed the game, told it I had an SB16 with 220, 5, 1 and 5 Rebooted Windows and grabbed a copy of SoundFX2000 v2.03 (full version not demo). This emulates the DOS Sound Card settings necessary to run it in windows XP.

All works beautifully until you break the tractor beam of the Garideon Warbird at the start. Then it crashes out (just like Generations does).

mine works fine using VDMSound ( http://ntvdm.cjb.net/ ), though sound is a little scratchy. Also i had to install to a fat32 partition using a 98SE startup disk, and then i modified the STTNG.INI file to point to where the drive actually is.
