I installed the drivers provided by [URL]http://jimpanse.exhome.de/voodoo.html[/URL], to get my Voodoo 2 card to work.

There was a "Genport i/o" error which I suppose is causing my other problems. After restarting XP, the Device Manager had an entry for my 3D Voodoo card and reported it working correctly. So it seemed that there is some progress.

But after installing Quake3 it fails during startup with some Open G/L error and that's that. I cannot run the GLSetup program under XP, on the Quake3 CD. This was necessary to get it working under win98.

Any ideas?

Also, I have a Virge VX regular 2D card on my machine. This has some 3D capabilities so games often find this card as a 3D card. However, under win98 it was possible to disable the 3D on this card and make my Voodoo2 the primary card. How do I do this now? (Note: I cannot disable the card completely or remove it 'cos its my 2D card!).
