WebCam says no Microsoft WDM Image Capture device?

Hey im trying to get this webcam to work but whatever streaming software I try it says it cant initialize Microsoft WDM Image Capture device. I went to control panel/multimedia/hardware/Video Capture Device but I dont have anything installed there.

any idea whatsup? the weird part is that the cam works from within Photoshop, i just went to File/Import and the cam is there, but other software like RealProducer or WebCam32 asks looks for WDM Image Capture device, it cant find one (this is on win2k, the cam is USB)
