Works perfectly under Windows 2000. However, there are some limitations (10 audio devices are available. Also, if 2 dsp factory cards are installed, the wave drivers 3-8 are not available. 32 bit mode is a no go. Ohterwise, it works perfectly. Use it with Cake Walk Sonar XL.

The Win2K driver (it's *still* in beta, BTW, but seems to work OK) installed onto the latest beta build of Whistler (build 2462) without any problems. Haven't as yet seen whether MS have fixed the shoddy MIDI timing which was such a "feature" of WinNT and Win2K: if they haven't then there's going to be a lot of very pissed-off musicians around...

version 2.225 for the Maxi Sound Fortissimo. Install Windows 2000 then update

soundcard (with PlugIn-Board PLG100DX) works in an ACPI-SMP Windows 2000

I managed to get the MPU-401 Microsoft generic
driver back to work like in RC3, go to WINNTINF and
edit the WDMAUDIO.INF remove the line
"ExcludefromSelect = *" and save it.
Then if you go to the add Hardware and add new
Audio Device under Microsoft the good old MPU-401 appears again, only it says it
has no digital sign on it, but simply ignore it. Now my Yamaha SW60XG is back to
work, even under W2K...
