another ff7 problem

hello everyone
i have a question about ff7
not long ago i got my hands on ff7 pc version installed it,used winxp patch and everything was fine.Now when i install it and the patch,game runs fine(some minor sound problems) until battles begin,they run very slow.pls help
/me be huge fan of ff series
thanks in advance
i have geforce fx 5700le.

First, use correct spelling/capitalization/puntuation. Then, you should check the disks. Are they (is it) scratched up? Finally, you may have some backwards compatibility issues with the newer hardware. I know that I can't play Lego Island anymore. If those aren't the causes, then I don't know.
