WinBackup 2.0 Standard is a backup solution for both home and small office users. The CD version comes in a DVD case with an 8-page quick start manual.
The minimum system requirements are:
400MHz CPU, 32MB Ram, 40MB hard drive, and Windows 98/ME/2000/XP
The following devices are supported: Hard Drive, CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW +/-, USB Drive, FireWire, Zip/Jazz/Rev, RAID, Network, and NAS
After the installation CD contains all 3 editions of WinBackup it is necessary to select the edition and enter the serial number to install this product.
After the first launch of WinBackup a dialog box pop up to show a flash demo on how to create a backup or creating a new backup job.
Creating a new backup job is fairly easy. First you need to give the new backup a name. In this example I called the backup “New Job”.
Then you need to select which files and directories should be backup. WinBackup backup also emails from Outlook/Outlook Express or even Internet Explorer/Firefox settings.
