Where in Windows XP can I change the default temp directory?/?

Under System (accessible through Control Panel) select the Advanced tab. Click on the Environment Variables button.

There is 2 TEMP/TMP variables, just so you know! In the upper & lower panes!

The upper one is USER level stuff, goes to I believe the HKEY_CURRENT_USER section/hive of the registry!

The lower one, is the machine/OS level one, & you have to scroll down to see it... WAY down its list is TEMP/TMP, alter them all to the same location, that way? You know where ALL the SYSTEM and USER temp ops took place!
