I've have empire earth gold edition, on my computer the game and expansion pack appear as seperate programs and when I click on the original game I get a message telling me I have the wrong disk and when i run the expansion I only get the items on the expansion not the full game.

I LOVE empire earth but it dose not work on my vista, it wont even try to start the game, i have the original version that i got years ago and there is nothing wrong with the disc.

Absolutely unplayable on windows 7.

But when I try to direct connect, it does not work.
I turn off firewall, and my internet carrier does not block the ports needed for the game, but something with Vista will not let me connect to a friend.

I know the game has been out for the better part of a decade, but it's one of my favorites and wish they would still support this game.
