I am trying to play tie fighter, but I can't cause of the real annoying "you must install direct is 5.0".
using an ATI radeon 9800XT

Installed with acompat.exe using windows 98 compatibility. Works fine with VDM Sound.

Received the follow messages:
1) doesn't work with sound. Windows XP Beta 2
2) Not working under WinXP full version Won't detect that the CD is in the drive.

Works great under W2k with VDMSound, just make sure your VDM is configured to provide 2M or more of EMS memory.
