Intel SHG2 Motherboard
Submitted by Anonymous on 2004-10-01 12:00:00 This product has a rating of 1 out of 5 running under Windows Server 2003 Comments: Have noted various comments in newsgroups and experienced it myself that the motherboard will not always install Windows 2003 (hangs when it gets to the graphical part of the install). If the installation is successful then server reboots continuously when it reaches the graphical part of the startup. This appears to affect older revisions of the motherboard, as the latest revision has been certified as W2003 server compatible by Intel. A newer replacement revision of the motherboard (but not the latest revision) worked fine until the second processor was installed. I have also seen other messages about users having this similar problem. |
