Submitted by Vess on 2006-06-11 09:05:09 This product has a rating of 4 out of 5 running under Windows XP Comments: Theoretically, "Indy & the Infernal Machine" will cause problems under Windows XP, and Lucasarts' official stance is that they "offer no support for this game under Windows XP". Realistically, all one needs to do is to run the MS Media Player first, and *then* run Indy. With MP open and kept in the background, the game will work flawlessly under XP. Note: avoid the patch for this game. It actually gives more problems (such as occasional freezing of an end-level enemy) than cures. ...and to fix camera problems, open "Advanced Graphics Options" from the game's internal menu, enter the options and exit them. If Indy freezes in place, type "fixme" in the game's console. |
