Submitted by Anonymous on 2006-12-29 12:22:36 This product has a rating of 5 out of 5 running under Windows XP Comments: Setting compatibility mode to Windows 95 is not enough! I had to set save game directory to "\RESIDENT EVIL2\" in root directory of drive. For example "C:\RESIDENT EVIL2\", "D:\RESIDENT EVIL2\" ... then loading works ... for me. If I set save game dir to (for example) "C:\GAMES\RESIDENT EVIL2\" or "C:\RE2\" it does not work! So, my solution is: - Create shortcut to LeonU.exe, or ClaireU.exe - In shortcut set compatibility mode to Windows 95 - Change save game directory to "C:\RESIDENT EVIL2\" ... and loading is now functional. |
