If you manage to find yourself a zipfile of the game, then this can help you out if you located copied files but your original CD won't work anymore: you need to type in X:\closecombat\setup\acmsetup /Z cchook.dll /T cc.stf /S X:\closecombat where X is either your CD rom drive, or in this case, where you have the game located. IF you just unzip the folder into C:\closecombat, and then type in C where the X goes, you will have no problem. (For people who can't find another copy of Close Combat but have the original, scratched disk) |
