Myst Masterpiece Edition
Submitted by Anonymous on 2008-11-10 00:48:16 This product has a rating of 4 out of 5 running under Windows XP Comments: I bought Myst trilogy (with Myst masterpiece inside) a few days ago. Myst has some problems to run with new products (not XP but QuickTime). Easy way : 1. Uninstall the Game Myst masterpiece 2. Uninstall your actual version of QuickTime (in windows config panel). Yes, doing this sucks but you have to or the game will not run well. 3. Install the Game Myst masterpiece and THE QuickTime which is given by the game during its installation (Quick Time 4 for me). 4. Lauch QuickTime Player, go to preferences > "Streaming Proxy" and change to "Sound Out". Here choose a Rate of 48,100 Hhz or more (bad sound if not). 5. Launch the game 6. The menu is at the top of the screen, move the mouse there and click one time to bring the menu, if you need to. It works for me, on XP with sp2. |
