Aliens Versus Predator Gold Edition
Submitted by Anonymous on 2004-06-01 12:00:00 This product has a rating of 5 out of 5 running under Windows XP Comments: Installs fine, but the ACT3.0 causes problems when playing (very low framerates) possibly because it thinks it is the original Aliens versus Predator (not the Gold version). No fixes are needed for AvP Gold to run under XP. If you have the Application Compatibility Toolkit installed, rename the executable from "avp.exe" to something else like "avpg.exe" to prevent the fixes in it being used, and everything should be fine. Don't forget to edit the shortcut to point to the renamed .exe :) |
