The greatest: DC30 will work with XP If you use NTFS+W2k or XP there is no capture limit.

known limitations:
1. sound capture will only work with separat soundcard. The build in soundpart of DC 30 will not work.

2. you must use capture software that support DIRECT SHOW Filter drivers. At the moment you can use AMCAP (on my hp section video) or Pinnacle Studio 7/8/7SE (you must buy it, Trial Version will not run). Premiere will not work with Direct Show filter drivers->you can use Premiere only with software mjpeg-codec like http://www.morgan-multimedia.com

3. Video Out works only with Studio 7/8 or Ulead Video Studio 6.

Received the follow messages:
1) The drivers work great for TV just make sure you install display driver ver. 6.33-CD03. Then download the Multimedia Ver. 7.0 BETA. Download
2) Display adapter works fine, as too DVD Player but TV-program doesn't.
3) Finally official drivers and multimedia center-software for Win2k. Works very well.

FINALLY, Alaris released drivers for this videocam that was commonly given out by Earthlink. Works extremely well. System continually prompts you for drivers for the camera - disregard this and disable the device in the device manager - just install the Videogram Creator software and the system will recognize the camera as both a Twain device (for use in software such as Paint Shop Pro), and a normal cam (For use in CuSeeMe, etc).

SMBus shows up as a ! splat in device manager, just install the latest chipset drivers to remove it.
