Never heard of this company before, picked up a card with their label on it at the swapmeet, TV Tuner, FM Tuner, Video Capture card with remote. Based on Conexant BT848 PCI chipset, works perfectly with drivers on disk under Windows 2000. There is no record of this company (Maxron) anywhere on the Internet. Although the BT848 is a generic chipset and lots of things work with it. Great deal for $37 dollars. Watch TV, record shows and capture 640x480x30 fps with 1% CPU usage.

For some strange reason, this modem need to be recognised by the mobo. in using IRQ3, config your BIOS to allocate the PCI slot of this modem to occupy IRQ3 manually; otherwise you have many troubles.

This modem has compatibility problem with "Unimodem half-duplex audio device" driver of XP, disable this item in XP device manager and this modem should works properly.

My TV & FM & CApture card driver cannot be installed to Windows XP and windows 2000 operating systems even original driver CD contain the Windows2000/Xp drivers. when I try to install the drivers (in the middle of the installation process) My computer will stuck and restarts with a memory dump and displays the Message "windows had recovered from serious error"

NO OTHER SELECTIONS for DVD! DVD: X-Men PowerDVD 3: set to SPDIF output Tested with the THX audio test in X-Men, and got all speakers to sound. Interestingly, LiveWare's speaker test fails with these settings (but succeed with DD/PCM Audio turned off, and Multi-Channel set to Digital DIN). I'm currently 25 minutes into the movie and the synchronization problem is non-existant, except in one instance where I was messing with the Windows speaker control. Pause/unpause immediately cleared the problem. WinDVD 2000M: no luck
