HardwareZoom has posted a comparison review between the HP LJ1010 against the Samsung ML-1710 laser printer

First of all, notice that the Samsung was faster in most First-page-out test. Thisis a little surprising because the Samsung uses USB 1.1 interface which is slowerthan the USB 2.0 interface used by the HP LJ1010. However, when comes to printingfrom sleep mode (or power-save mode/standby mode) the first-page-out from HP wasway faster. This is an important observation because users will use the printersfrom power-save mode most of the time. Again, the reason why the HP was faster isbecause of its instant fuser-on technology.
