SubZeroTech has posted a new Article "SubZeroTech Gaming Machine February 2004"

A short while ago I went to ATI and asked if they would help me bring the Subzerotech testing system up to speed. At the same time I was contacting Albatron and AMD asking the same question. After a number of phone calls and emails I had the rudimentary plans for an article that would display the best numbers ever hosted on our server. Some of the contributing members were Hitachi, AMD, Albatron, Asetek, Corsair, M-Audio, Aspire and of course ATI. I deliberately picked from the best of the best to put together a dream system. I have had the fortune as of late to be working with many companies I have grown to trust, and even more favorably so not to have had many products that are anything less than enviable. I have had no hardware hang-ups, no frustrating install issues and paramount: no disappointing overclocks or performance levels (except for a few budget video cards) Other than that I have been sculpting my requests into one master plan: a gaming rig designed for pure performance using only the crème de la crème. Of course verifying the benchmark numbers took forever, and I had to compare certain parts from a couple manufacturers, but in the end I chose what I liked the best for this article and in each section I will tell you why.
