12 Windows Clipboard Managers Tested

Clipboard managers make it much easier to re-enter text or anything else that you've recently copied and pasted, adding an array of new capabilities to the default Windows clipboard. Although they differ in specific features, the typical clipboard manager automatically saves text, images and other items as they are copied to your clipboard, displaying them in a list-style GUI that makes it simple to re-copy or paste something later.

ASUS ProArt PA32UC 32" Monitor Review

While we tend to focus on PC Gaming-oriented displays here at PC Perspective, they dont necessarily represent the highest-end of the PC monitor market. Often professionals working in photography and videography areas have stricter requirements for the displays they use.
Just imagine, if you are mastering video in wide gamut color spaces like DCI-P3 for HDR playback, you need to be assured that the source image on your PC is being accurately represented on your display. While the highest-end production use reference displays that can cost upwards of $20,000, theres a growing market for more modestly priced displays for prosumers that can also provide reasonable assurance of color accuracy.

Asus ROG Strix Hero II Gaming Laptop Review

A gaming laptop shouldn’t only be powerful. For serious play, you also need great visuals and powerful audio, which the Asus ROG Strix Hero II (starting at $1,699, $1915 as tested) delivers. With an 8th Gen Core i7 processor and GTX 1060 graphics, it's VR-ready and you would be hard-pressed to find something this thing can’t run well. This 15.6-inch notebook feels like a 13-incher in your lap due to clever design. With killer sound and a beautiful display, this rig is very, very tempting. But it’s not without its issues: an awkwardly placed webcam and incredibly hot bottom case and loud fan might dissuade you (but it probably wouldn’t dissuade me).

Dell Latitude 7212 Rugged Extreme Tablet Review

This tank of a tablet makes me want to leave my desk and get into some hard work.

Dell's business side of PCs has a lot of range, from premium workstations all the way down to rugged tablets designed for a life outdoors. I have here for review the 11.6-inch Latitude 7212, a bulky tablet that starts around the $1,900 mark. No, it's not cheap, but it's designed for a specific audience that won't mind paying for the durability it brings with it.

EasySMX COOL 2000 Review

The EasySMX COOL 2000 is a highly affordable gaming headset that is very versatile. The headset can be used on most platforms that include mobile as well as console, PC and the Nintendo Switch. The EasySMX COOL 2000 is a highly affordable gaming headset that is very versatile. The headset can be used on most platforms that include mobile as well as console, PC and the Nintendo Switch. This versatility has been achieved by using an adapter that comes included with the headset, this is a very simple solution, but it’s one that works and means you don’t require multiple headsets if you game on different platforms.

The feature set is decent too - especially given the low cost of the headset. These attributes include 50mm drivers, LED illumination, on-headset controls, a non-removable omnidirectional microphone and a flexible headband system.

ID-Cooling Dashflow 360 Review

ID-Cooling offers a true feast for the eyes with the Dashflow 360. Fully decked out in RGB LEDs on both the fans and pump, this design will definitely turn a few heads. Looks are not all it has on its side either; with standard G1/4" fittings, the unit is also fully expandable and serviceable.

ID-Cooling is still a relative newcomer to the PC-cooling market. However, since 2013, they have come a long way. Managing to secure a solid foothold, they have rapidly expanded into new regions. With each revision or product release, they have shown improvements and quick adaptability to industry trends. This includes everyone's love-it or hate-it feature of RGB LEDs. Not to be outdone, they now have expanded their product portfolio to include RGB-illuminated heatsinks, fans, all-in-one liquid coolers, and even expandable liquid cooling options.

Logitech G560 Review: 2.1 RGB Gaming Speakers Review

Continuing the seemingly unstoppable trend of RGB-enabled PC accessories, Logitech last month introduced the G560 LIGHTSYNC PC Gaming Speaker. The G560 is a $200 2.1 speaker system with multiple RGB lights that works with Logitechs LIGHTSYNC platform.

The company loaned us the G560 for review, and we spent the last few weeks using it as our primary speaker system for movies, music, and games. Does adding RGB lighting to your PC speakers make a positive contribution to your multimedia experience? Or is it just a gimmick?
Check out our impressions of the Logitech G560 RGB speakers.

Microsoft Surface Go Review

Microsoft's history in the budget tablet space is a bit checkered. Remember Surface RT? That was a flop. And other smaller Surfaces just never felt right. But the Surface Go ($349 to start, $549 as tested, before accessories) feels just right. The 10-inch screen isn’t a lot of real estate, but it’s just enough to plop down and get some work done before jamming it into a knapsack and getting back on the road. This makes it a solid partner device for someone who already has a powerful desktop at home and wants to get some minor work done on the go.

Intel’s Pentium Gold 4415Y CPU, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (in our review model) is powerful enough for simple tasks. For the price, it’s a good 2-in-1 for someone who can’t spend a lot but wants the build quality of a premium PC, or as a secondary device for people who are constantly moving but like to bang out some work where they can. The big issue is that it doesn’t last long enough on a charge to run the entire day, and adding a keyboard increases the cost dramatically.

Overcooked 2 Review

The original Overcooked was one of the sweetest surprises of 2016. It filled the both-butts-on-the-same-couch multiplayer void left behind by sadly-diminished series like Bomberman and Mario Party, and it was co-op! You could bust the game out when your ultra-competitive family was over and nobody would need to be disowned by the end of the evening. Overcooked managed to tap into a niche audience starved for family-friendly co-op fun and became a solid sleeper hit.

Now, two years later, the second course has arrived. Overcooked 2 adds new mechanics, online play, and, of course, a whole slew of new kitchens and recipes, but is this the delicious dish your remember? Or a cold plate of plastic-wrapped leftovers? Let’s dig in…

Threadripper 2000 Series Unboxing: What Comes With AMDs 32-Core Monster?

AMD is kicking off its 2000-series Threadripper launch with its aptly-named "Heavy Metal" marketing campaign. The $1,799 Threadripper 2990WX is the star of the show, with 32-cores and 64-threads of sheer CPU power, but we'll need some serious kit to push this processor to its fullest.
