Socket 754? Socket 940? Socket 939? ECC/Non-ECC? Buffered/Unbuffered? Some people were a little confused, honestly some of the staff here were confused as well. Since then things have become a lot more lucid. The Athlon64 3200+ was released as a 754 pin processor with a single-channel 64-bit on-die memory controller which supports unbuffered DDR400 SDRAM. The "enthusiasts" Athlon64 FX-51 on the other hand was somewhat confusingly different, being more related to the Opteron it sports the same 128-bit memory controller with the difference that it supports DDR400...
