ADATA XPG SX6000 Pro NVMe SSD Review

The ADATA XPG SX6000 Pro uses Realtek's RTS5763DK mainstream NVMe controller. This is a mainstream DRAMless design that features host memory bus (HMB) technology to improve performance over true DRAMless SSDs.

ASRock X570 Taichi (AMD X570) Motherboard Review

Today we take a look at ASRock's X570 Taichi motherboard, a line of motherboards we have traditionally been very impressed with. The new Taichi seems to be more loaded than the traditional Taichi models, which makes sense since the new chipset offers higher-end features and requires higher-end hardware to fully support those features. Let's take a look at what ASRock has to offer with their X570 Taichi.

Darksiders III Performance Analysis

Darksiders III does not really have any special technical characteristics to it to be concerned with, like support for multiple APIs or special technologies like NVIDIA's RTX or DLSS, which is good if only because the graphs should not be so crowded. There is a 62 FPS limit active by default in the game, but it can be easily changed by editing an INI file, and you can find the instructions on how to make the change at the game's PC Gaming Wiki page. I raised the limit to 300 FPS, which I felt would be high enough to let the GPUs I have reach to their limits.

Gigabyte RTX 2060 SUPER WINDFORCE OC & GAMING OC Review

Why have one graphics card when you can have two!? Today, we take a look at both the Gigabyte RTX 2060 SUPER Windforce OC and the Gigabyte RTX 2060 SUPER Gaming OC. Now, we would normally review them separately, but we have them at the same time, and they’re honestly quite similarly priced too.

The cards are different, of course. For starters, the Windforce OC features a dual 100mm fan design and a 1680 MHz clock speed. While the slightly more expensive Gaming OC features a triple-fan cooler and a higher 1815 MHz clock speed. Naturally, we’re expecting the Gaming OC to be the faster of the two regardless. Which one is right for you, however, will likely come down to the cash in your wallet. Then again, will the Gaming OC prove to be worth the extra investment?

MXL Tempo Microphone Review

With the explosive growth of game and entertainment streaming, and podcasts finally feeling like they are becoming mainstream, serious media sources, the need for quality audio recording equipment has become a reality. Viper Gaming Viper Steel DDR4 16GB 3866MHz Review

Patriot Memory s gaming focused brand is called Viper Gaming and in the past, I’ve had a few of their peripherals come into the office to check out but it was only recently when I had Viper Gaming RAM come in. I was curious about what they are doing to set their gaming lineup apart from the normal Patriot Memory RAM. They sent over their Viper Steel 2x8GB kit which is running at 3866 MHz. The Viper Steel lineup uses a simple styling that avoids the flashy lighting that a lot of other kits use and is available in up to 4400MHz which is the fastest kit in the Viper Gaming lineup. The kit I’m checking out today isn’t as fast as that 4400MHz kit but I’m excited to take a closer look at the new styling and see how our 3866Mhz kit performs as well.
