Adaptec is manufacturing a OEM USB-based dual TV tuner that that allow you to record one channel while watching another, or to record two different channels simultaneously. This is in contrast to to other typical USB tuners.
The TV tuner with dual hardware-based encoder already made its way to HP's new zd8000 media center notebook, which is available for sales in the beginning of this month.
